when i was young, i dreamed of having a career as an artist.
of course, now I'm in school for computer science.
but that passion didn't die
it has simply taken a new form
Current Day
Swamped with the pressures and work of college, I have found it difficult to create as often as I used to. Oftentimes I find myself doodling in the margins (or just on top of) my notes because I can't seem to find the time anywhere else. Regardless, I am happy in what I create. I do it for me.
Despite the lack of time, I still seek out creativity anywhere and everywhere I can. I have since joined the Rutgers Review, a semesterly arts and culture magazine. I am now the creative director, and we just published our fall issue. Words cannot describe my pride; I can study STEM but still pursue my passion in other forms. That is the new dream.
